My character is Olive and the character trait that I have chosen for her is arrogant. First, they each have to share everybody's lunch. Olive doesn't believe that that is fair so she says "you need to not touch my lunch". This shows she is very selfish because with her only wanting her own self to touch her lunch that means that she must not care about anyone else if they eat or not. Olive still believes her father is coming to get her out in such a blizzard so she goes ahead and drinks the rest of the milk they had left for herself because she was just worrying about herself until her father comes to get her. In conclusion, Olive is very arrogant since she doesn't care about if anyone else needs anything to survive or not.
The Stone- Exercise C
If I were Maibon the farmer in "The Stone" I would have asked to have a stone that said that I would have the happiest life ever in which nothing would ever go wrong.
First, I know that I would definiately need that catch because sometimes I frail in things. Second, I would also want the stone to never threadbare because it really wouldn't due me any good if it ended before my life was over with. Third, it would also help me through plight times, in which I have alot of. The stone would fix that problem right away by changing my world upside down. I was ladened down with ideas on which phrase or catch I wanted to pick for my stone to be, but this phrase/ statement pretty much covers everything due to worries. In conclusion, I would never want this stone to be undone or mistreated that would make it go wrong in any way for it to be vained to working, instead I would rather gape at good things happening in my lifetime.
Doc Rabbit- BCR Assesment: April 11,2012
One of the characters that I think used trickery/ humor was Bruh Fox. This is so because several times in the folktale Bruh kept telling Doc that there was something down at the river where the cream was. Bruh kept telling Doc that there was a noise coming from there and for Doc Rabbit to go check it out since he is a doctor. So Doc kept on believing Bruh that there was something down there. Doc listened and did it several times. After all Bruh only did this so he could make Tar Baby. In which when Doc came back he fell in Tar Baby and couldn't get unstuck because tar is sticky. So finally, Bruh Fox got him unstuck and through him in the patch of briars. In conclusion, this character is using trickery to get Doc to go down to the river several times just so Doc would fall in Tar Baby when he came back and get stuck just for humor.
